How to Create Holy Water with Diana, the Dewy One

Set up your altar with all of your cherished supplies to one side (temporarily). Start by purifying the room with genuine intention using sage. Ground and Center, meditate deeply and sincerely connect to the revered goddess Diana. For completion, you might lovingly create a Sacred Space or thoughtfully cast a Magick Circle, according to your heartfelt tradition. 

Reverently call upon the goddess Diana to support you in your meaningful spell-work by intoning: “I call to Diana, the Dewy One Lady of the Night, and Consort of the Sun. I ask for your blessed aid in my work tonight, And grace me with your precious silver moonlight.” 

If desired, light a (silver or white) candle for your sacred work now. Declare your sincere intention: “Diana, this night I earnestly call to you to create Holy Water with May Dew.” 

Using either your finger or blade, trace an inverted triangle, the symbol for the Element of Water, above your altar. Triple check your lovingly gathered ingredients. Decide where to place them around this symbolic triangle. If there are two, like water and salt, place these on either side. With three ingredients, such as water, salt, and herbs, place them at each triangle point. 

If using a blade, rest it parallel with the top line. The glass bottle or jar should patiently await filling inside the triangle. As you create Holy Water, sincerely banish all negative energy from these revered items. 

First, gently lift the bowl of water. Kindly hold your power hand above it or tenderly plunge your blade into it, envisioning it glowing with purifying white light, proclaim: “Bowl of water, Element of Water, I remove all negativity. In the name of the Triple Goddess; the Maiden-Mother-Crone, Artemis-Diana-Hecate, so bless it!” 

Place your water bowl down thoughtfully, and lift the bowl of salt. With genuine intent, hold your power hand above it or touch the blade tip to the salt, envisioning white light purification, affirm: “Bowl of salt, Element of Earth, I remove all negativity. In the name of the Triple Goddess; the Maiden-Mother-Crone, Artemis-Diana-Hecate, so bless it!” 

Set the bowl of salt down securely, then take the glass bottle/jar. Hold your power hand over it or gently touch the blade tip to the bottle/jar, envisioning a full light cleanse, saying: “Bottle/Jar of transformed sand, Element of Earth, I remove all negativity. In the name of the Triple Goddess; the Maiden-Mother-Crone, Artemis-Diana-Hecate, so bless it!” 

For any additional ash or herbs, carefully set down the bottle/jar and pick up the bowl. Hold your power hand over it or touch the blade tip to the herbs, envisioning white light, and affirm: “Bowl of ash/herbs, Element of Earth, I remove all negativity. In honor of the Triple Goddess; the Maiden-Mother-Crone, Artemis-Diana-Hecate, so bless it!” 

With negative vibrations banished and aversion to voids, it’s time to spiritually impart blessings. First, lifter the bowl of water; breathe softly over it with sincerity, envisioning enchanting silver-white sparkling moonlight, announce: “In the name of the Maiden Artemis.” Breathe again, declare: “In the name of Diana, Mother of Aradia.” 

One final breath-over and declare: “In the name of the Crone, Hecate.” 

Gently place the water bowl down, lift the salt bowl and lovingly repeat. Set down the salt satisfyingly, lift the bottle/jar and lovingly repeat. For herbs or ash, lovingly repeat for sincere completeness.

Now is the heartfelt moment for making the Holy Water itself; meticulously mix the purified, consecrated salt with the cleansed, consecrated water. With respect to tradition, utilize your gentle blade or sincere fingers. 

If employing a blade, use the tip for salting, and with fingers, lovingly pinch. For each pinch or sprinkle, express: “In the name of the Maiden Artemis.”

On the second, say: “In the name of Diana, Mother of Aradia.” 

On the third: “In the name of the Crone, Hecate.” 

For herbs or ashes, repeat sincerely.

Before storing the Holy Water, it should be carefully strained. 

Final steps before bottling: place your power hand gently over the bowl, or tenderly plunge your blade, envisioning luminescent silver-white moonlight, say: “In the name of the Triple Goddess, Maiden-Mother-Crone, On this night of the Full Moon light shone; Artemis-Diana-Hecate."
